Leave the urban commotion behind and enjoy the silent uphill to the mysterious doline!
Upon arrival at Oddoene Valley, you will find a large parking area at Sa Barva, make sure you have enough water and ideal clothing to face this beautiful excursion. After crossing the bridge on Rio Frumeneddu, follow the directions to Tiscali and after a steep uphill climb, known as “Iscala e Surtana”, you can walk through the Doloverre Valley forest. The trail is well marked and very visible. Once you have crossed the valley, you will see large signs directing you to the left towards Tiscali. The course alternates between steep uphills and walks through forest plains. Juniper trees will amaze you with their shapes and twisted trunks. The holm trees stand high along the trail and give you a pleasant break from the summer heat. After an hour and a half of trekking you will reach the peak of Tiscali from where you can enjoy a breath-taking panorama over the Lanaitto valley and the Supramonte mountains.
You can easily note the entrance to the doline where a tour guide will be waiting for you to tell you the story of a beautiful Nuragic village still wrapped up in mystery all the way up the peak of the mountain hidden and protected by centuries of wild nature.

The deviation to reach the Oddoene Valley is found on Kennedy street, the west ring road of Dorgali. Since these are secondary roads, we suggest to proceed at moderate speed and enjoy the scenery.
- From the National Road 125 turn right onto J.F.Kennedy street.
- Drive straight ahead for just over 1km past the roundabout
- Turn right onto Bachelet street
- Turn left and enter the road towards Oddoene
- Follow the directions to Gorroppu and Tiscali and enjoy the scenery.
- After the tunnel turn left towards Baunei
- Proceed for just over 1km and turn right
- Proceed until reaching the road to Oddoene and turn left
- Follow the directions to Gorroppu and Tiscali and enjoy the scenery.
